Boswellia Carterii Frankincense resin also known as "Mohor" in Somali, is an aromatic resin. Our Carterii resins come from the Boswellia Carterii tree in the bio-diverse high altitude regions of Northern Somalia. Our resins are harvested and handpicked individually ensuring premium quality while preventing over-tapping and ensuring sustainability. Boswellia Carterii resin can be used in many different ways such as incense, aromatherapy and essential oil distillation. For many centuries, Boswellia Carterii resins have been used for their aromatic scent; in religious ceremonies; as an incense to purify homes. The burning of Carterii resins have natural calming properties which aid in relaxation and meditation. HOW TO USE:

 SOARŌMA Frankincense Carterii resins can be burned by simply placing a small amount of resin on an incense burner or by lighting a charcoal disk for about 1 to 3 minutes . Once the charcoal has been well lit, place the resin on top of the charcoal and enjoy the aromatic scent. 

DESCRIPTION:

Colour ranges for Carterii resins vary. They can be translucent, light yellow, amber to dark brown and black in colour.

SCENT:

Carterii resin is softer, but equally as powerful as the Frereana resin.  A warm woody aroma with layers of a sweet floral rich scent.
